City of Kids

The “City of KIDS” is an innovative Learning and Development Center that aims at offering children aged 2-16, a safe, interesting, and as close to real life as possible educational experience.

There is a mini city at the center, with over 70 role-play activities including over 40 different retail outlets including a Fire Station, Hospital, Theatre, and TV Studio at kid’s size.

Children pick up their jobs, wear their outfits, and engage in activities related to their chosen careers, earn the center’s own money, known as DOCOK which is used to buy various items and services in the city.

This proposal therefore seeks to use play to impart practical life skills and knowledge as well as financial skills and an appreciation of the role of society to the children.

To enhance the safety and security of children in the center, the center uses GPS trackers and matching security bracelets to enhance the safety of children within the premises.

Further, AI systems monitor child learning processes and offer feedback to facilitate learning achievements.

These role-play activities are integrated with the formal learning processes of any educational system; hence, students derive meaningful learning experiences from their visits to the City of KIDS.

It operates based on various sources of income such as charges to be paid for admission, the sale of souvenirs, and collaboration with local companies and schools.

Extra revenues come from temporary events, kids’ birthday parties, and educational events.

City of KIDS aims to become an invaluable educational resource in Canada by tailoring content to reflect Canadian culture and forming strategic partnerships with communities.

Our goal is to provide children with a safe, engaging environment that supplements traditional schooling.
